Hi. My name is Hanne Vidal and my journey with natural healing started from a very young age. As a child I was extremely sick and suffered from countless asthma attacks, as a result I was taken to many doctors who tried various medications to heal me but none were effective and so I continued to struggle.  It got to the point where one day a friend of my mother’s suggested I go into the mountains of Chile to a place called Olmue where I would find a ‘Curandero’, a traditional native healer or Shaman.

The gentleman I went to see was 114 years old and was absolutely amazing!  He was walking well, thin but strong, and had an extremely straight posture for someone of his years.  He immediately took all my breathing inhalers and medication the modern doctors had given me and threw them away into the garbage.  Initially I was scared as I thought I was going to die but he healed me, and the rest is history!  As a result of this experience the Curandero gained my total respect and admiration, and I as grew older I would continue to question any medical doctor that I saw as I grew more and more disappointed with the medical industry.  No longer did I see them as the maximum authority over my health and as a result it has been more than 25 years since I have taken any kind of modern medicine. 

I was born in Mexico, surrounded by all the shamanic and folklore culture which I love. Over the years I have lived in Chile, Italy and now finally in the US.  Whilst living in Manhattan, New York I studied Fashion/Marketing in the Fashion Institute of Technology.  This career enabled me to travel to many countries and along the way I discovered oriental medicine.  During my time living in Hong Kong I learned about the healing power of touch, the magic of reflexology and massage.  There is so much wonder in how you can touch one part of the body and heal another part by doing so, it is truly amazing!

After the birth of my daughter all of these experiences eventually led me to taking a Licensed Massage therapist course at the Florida College of Natural Health and my education has since continued with certifications in the following:

My other interests cover the natural healing power of plants for the spirit and the soul, in particular the healing power of Ayahuasca, Psilocibios Mushrooms and Peyote.  Wherever possible I like to read as many books on natural healing as I can as well travel to sacred areas spending time with natural healers to expand my knowledge.
